I live and teach in Mahopac, New York. I have guided students and teachers in the Hudson Valley and the Catskills for over 25 years. Much of my teaching career has been dedicated to applying principles of math directly to our hikes and excursions. My best teaching moments have been along the Hudson River.
I have traveled through all 50 States and backpacked extensively in the Northeast and Northwest. I have also helped organize and guide trips with teachers for Costa Rica, Belize, Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, Alaska, Croatia, and the American Southwest
