I currently live in Poughquag New York and have been teaching high school social studies for over 14 years. I believe that as teachers, travel makes us a more well rounded individual and allows us to bring the world into our classrooms.
I have traveled extensively throughout western Europe including Ireland, England, Scotland, Whales, France, Germany and Iceland. In addition, I have traveled to Costa Rica, Belize, Alaska, the American Southwest and the Pacific Northwest. Most of my travels have been with student and teacher groups.
Traveling with student groups is a unique and rewarding experience. Showing students the cultures of other people allows them to develop a true world view. It brings me great joy bringing these experiences to our future leaders.
